Home owner wanted to restore the home which is an investment property he plans to keep long term. The home needed some serious TLC on the exterior but due to the nature of the project needed an affordable cladding. Upon examining the wood we determined the best long term build would be to remove the original wood cladding, build out the substrate with new OSB sheathing to give a proper solid flat surface to install the vapor barrier on top of. Then we shimmed to even out walls, trimmed rotting wood ledges and wrapped for protection. We added new corrugated shade structure on the front facing deck pergola frame and sided over old openings that needed to be sealed up.
